Architectural Styles
Homes in the Heritage Collection are offered in three distinct architectural styles:
Traditional style
The traditional style home is the most popular style of home throughout the country. The true test of enduring quality for a traditional style home is the detailing- small touches that speak of timeless value. That’s why our Traditional style homes feature such elements as double-hung windows, columns, pilasters, corner boards and shutters.
Craftsman style
Craftsman style homes have an easy informal air- a warm, welcoming feel. Authentic craftsman features used throughout the collection include rustic roof brackets, distinctive window framing and classic tapered columns. A variety of exterior options- such as split wood shingles, shake siding, brick, stone, slate, stucco and clapboard- enable the same model to project very different effects.
European Country style
Providing an interesting blend of Old World elegance and casual country comfort, the European Country style is both classic and continental. Simple shutters, arched openings and interesting rooflines bring European charm to life, while stucco finishes combined with brick or stone portray the feeling of walking down a country lane.
