Information For Realtors

Thank you for your interest in Hansen & Horn.  Please take a moment to review the following policy regarding cooperating realtor compensation.

Hansen & Horn Group will pay at final closing of the home a three percent (3%) cooperating broker commission to the agency listed on the Realtor Registration Form in accordance with the following conditions:

1. You must be a licensed Real Estate Broker or Salesperson representing a Broker, and,


2. You must be currently active in the Indianapolis and surrounding real estate market as your primary profession.


3. You must register your client via one of the following methods:
   
   1. You accompany and register your client on their first visit.
   2. You make contact in person with our Sales Consultant(s) prior to your client's first visit and they acknowledge you as their Agent upon arrival.
   3. You make contact via telephone with our Sales Consultant(s) arranging a specific time for the initial meeting with your client.
   4. Register by Fax
   5. The Customer Registers


4. Your client enters into a valid Agreement of Sale, which is accepted by Hansen & Horn Group.


5. Your client completes the transaction in accordance with the terms of the Agreement.


6. Valid agencies will be honored for sixty (60) days from registration date.


7. Commissions are not paid on any down payment assistance program costs, add-ons, mark-ups or fees.


8. Commissions are not paid if a client is declared in default under the terms of the Agreement of Sale.


9. Additonally, we will not honor your agency in any of the following events:
   1. Your client returns to the same community and registers with a different agent.
   2. Your client purchases a home at another community and registers with a different agent.
   3. You fail to register your client prior to the inital meeting.
